Obituary of Robert Patrick George Alexander Wilson

Bob passed away peacefully, August 1, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was a proud Irishman by birth and an honorary Italian by marriage. Predeceased by his parents, Alice and George Wilson, step-mother, Hattie Wilson and sister, Bette Hoder. He is survived by his wife, Joy (Cipriano); children, Pat (Rick) Lafleur, Sandy (Sherrie) Wilson, Jeff (Debbie) Wilson and Beth (Chris Berger) Wilson; grandchildren, Amy Lafleur, Nicole Cealka, Ben Lafleur, Cassie Wilson, Dana Wilson, Shelby Wilson, Mitchell Wilson, Liam Berger; sister, Joyce Bennett; beloved extended family, friends, colleagues, and caregivers. Bob was known for his humor, storytelling abilities and his devotion to family. He was awarded the Purple Heart while serving during the Korean War. He worked as an inside salesman at various companies including, General Electric, ReQua Electric and Masline Electronics. He was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. The family would like to thank all of the dedicated and caring doctors and staff at Highland Hospital. The family is deeply appreciative to all the health professionals who cared for Bob. Special thanks to Tom Reimann for his exceptional care and friendship. Bob's Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (3318 East Henrietta Rd.) Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
