Another year has passed. Lots of things have occurred. Julia finished her 1st year at Messiah. Brendan finished his 2nd year at Siena. Spencer finished 10th grade at Shaker.
Spencer was also the last of the grandchildren to get his driver's permit. Guess they are all growing up. Jeanie would have enjoyed all these accomplishments.

2015. Another year has passed. Many milestones that Mom would have been proud of. Brendan getting ready for his 2nd year of college at Siena. Julia getting ready for her first year at Messiah. Spencer getting ready for Fall sports after getting back on track from his fractured elbow. We made our way to Ireland on our family vacation. We saw mom's sister, Aunt Nancy there. My cousins pointed out the place where Jeanie was born 84 years ago.

Another year has passed.
Brendan graduated from high school in June and will be starting college in the Fall at Siena.
Can still remember Mom and Dad taking Val and me to ENC our first year.
Oral, Joy, Val and I will be getting together this weekend for Brendan's graduation party and spend some time reminiscing.
Nice cool day today, low 80's just like Jeanie would have liked it

Time has passed quickly in the past year. Our family is getting ready to go to the Grand Canyon tomorrow for our family vacation.
We always enjoyed all the pictures from Mom and Dad's traveling after retirement

This past weekend was the first anniversary of her passing. It was in the 90's all weekend. Just the kind of weather she would have told us was to hot to go outside. We were all together for the weekend for a graduation. We all shared memories of our mother and considered the blessing of having Herbert and jeanie as our parents.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jeanie's sudden Homecall and send deepest sympathy to all her family. Jeanie and I were close pals in our younger days, we would cycle all over the country, up hill and down dale. I always found her to be pleasant, agreeable and unselfish. I remember the night she gave her life to the Lord 64 years ago. We were together on that occasion. I did bridesmaid at her wedding in 1954. I always looked forward to her visits back home to Ireland and now look forward to meeting her in Glory. "The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance". Ps 112.6.

Since I received the news of the sudden home call of my dear sister Jeanie, I have had great difficulty accepting the fact that she has gone as she had made great progress after her recent operation and seemed to have no other health problems. Although separated by thousands of miles we enjoyed a very close relationship, more so since we lost our dear husbands. How I will miss those long telephone conversations when we attempted to set the world to rights especially the USA and N Ireland. She was a faithful servant of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and what is our loss is Heaven's gain. She has gone to her reward and one day all who are trusting in Jesus as their Saviour shall meet her in Heaven. My deepest sympathy to her children Oral, Joy, Phil, Valerie and their families.

I was saddened to hear of Jeanie's passing. I have lovely memories of Jeanie when I went to visit Jeanie and Herbie in America with Nancy and Marie where i was made to feel extremely welcome. I also met with Jeanie when they came home to visit family in Northern Ireland. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family circle at this sad time.

I am sorry, Oral, to hear of the passing of your mother. Since relocating to Ohio, I only got news of your family via the Shanks. I have many good memories of her and your dad while attending Calvary. Heartfelt sympathies are extended to you and those remaining behind, although her mind, body and spirit are joyous and glorified with the Lord.

I was so sorry to hear about Jeanie's passing away. I often heard my mum, Mary, speak fondly of her and the many good times and laughs they shared in their younger days in Co Antrim.

We were saddened to hear of Jeanie's sudden passing, but are happy for her homegoing to be with the Lord she loved forever. We have many precious memories of Jeanie and Herb from our days of service at Calvary Church. We had many wonderful times of fellowship with them, even after we had moved away. Jeanie was a wonderful and gracious lady, always the perfect hostess. Our prayers are with all of her family at this time.
