Obituary of Jennie Enola Heydt

August 20, 2011 at the age of 91. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles. Surviving are her children, Donald Heydt & Dianne Reber; grandchildren, Dennis, Christine & Kimberly Reber; and several nieces and nephews. Enola was born in Carthage, NY on June 30, 1920, the daughter of Don and Reba Murdock, and graduated from Carthage High School in 1940. She married Charles E. Heydt, Jr. on August 20, 1945 in Carthage and moved to Rochester. She spent her time primarily as a homemaker, but worked for several years as a secretary at Highland Hospital, Sibley's, as a Henrietta Voting Inspector, and for the Primary Mental Health Program in Henrietta. She was active in a number of organizations, including the Henrietta Grange, the VFW Ladies Auxilliary, the Order of the Eastern Star and Rebekahs, the National Campers and Hikers Association, Girls Scouts, Cub Scouts, No. 24 School PTA, and Henrietta Volunteer Ambulance.
