Obituary of Gordon E. Swarthout

　 Passed away peacefully after a long illness Sept. 16, 2011 at age 82. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Joan (Kavanaugh). He was the loving father of daughter, Deborah Swarthout, sons, David & Gregory (Betsy), grandchildren, Dillon, Hunter & Jenah, cousin, Vera Sharp, sisters in-law, Patricia Kavanaugh, Marie Kavanaugh & Mary Ann Salt, brothers in-law, Lawrence Kavanaugh, John Muench & Elwood Shemwell, several nieces and nephews. Gordon and his wife Joan were the founders of The Hickok Center for Brain Injury. Gordon’s family wishes to thank the Strong Health Dialysis Brighton for their kind and compassionate care.
