Obituary of David Frank LaBorde

David Frank LaBorde, age 69, died unexpectedly in Penfield, NY on September 22, 2011. He was the son of Donald and Anna LaBorde of DuBois, PA, both of whom predeceased him. He is survived by Kim LaBorde; beloved sons, Nathaniel C. LaBorde of Penfield, NY, Travis C. (Tina) LaBorde of East Rochester, NY, Nicholas M. (Christina) LaBorde, of Webster, NY. David F. (Eileen) LaBorde, II of Farmington, NY; their mother, Gloria Cyphert LaBorde Selker of Canandaigua, NY; brother, Terrance Lee (Elisa) LaBorde of Hanover, PA, as well as several adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and long-time, kind friend, Ken Hansen of Bristol, NY. Mr. LaBorde was a teacher in Clearfield and Ridgway, PA as well as at Red Jacket High School in Shortsville, NY. Later he was employed by the Department of Social Services in Ontario County, NY. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, interests which he passed on to his sons and grandchildren. He was cared for by Nathaniel, Travis, and Tina in his final years. A private family service and burial will take place in DuBois, PA.
