I would like to express my condolence and share a thought of spirtual encouragement found at John 5:28,29. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

Rest In Peace Mrs.Bruno, knowing the work you did here on earth touched the lives of so many. You were a true pioneer in the world of advocacy for those living with disabilities. You always made me feel like a daughter and I am Blessed to have known you. I am comforted to know that you are reunited with your beloved husband and beautiful daughter in God's arms. ?
For those friends who have children with disabilities and/or work in the human services field--you would not be doing your job the same way were it not for this woman and the other parents like her who worked so diligently to make certain people with disabilities are PEOPLE first. She fought for both the rights of her daughter, Margurite, and all those who could not always speak for themselves. Because of Marge Bruno, there are caring homes and facilities for those with special needs to work and live. Because of Mrs.Bruno, there are people who were once believed to be incapable of any usefullness leading fulfilling, productive, happy lives.
I am so proud and honored to have known and worked along side of her for so many years. What she taught me can not be learned in any classroom--invaluable life lessons about love, friendship, kindness, caring and fighting for what is right for as long as it takes until someone finally listens and changes are made. This is how you change the world--and Mrs. Bruno, you did that. I will miss you so much!
