My deepest sympathies to Colleen's loved ones. She was truly a gem and anyone who ever met Colleen would be immediately struck by her big laugh, her big heart and her big love for life and her family. I have so many fond memories of our youth - wild and crazy times for sure, but oh so much fun! She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Sonam,
Very sorry to learn of Colleen's death. In highschool, every time I saw her or spoke with her--she was smiling. I will remember her that way. Regards to you and your family.

Dear Colleen,I said my last earthly goodbyes to you last night, and as I was leaving I noticed a middle aged lady walking down the cool, windy, dark street. I rolled down my window and asked her if she wanted a ride, she hoped in and away we went, and I know you would have done that and not even told anyone, this is how I will remember you. I know your spirit will continue to guide your chrildern and your good work will continue. Thanks for your friendship, I love you and pray for your family.Lindy

Colleen was a lot of fun and spent a lot of time with me and my other girlfriends when we were in our early 20s. She was a beautiful girl and so nice to everyone! I saw her in March at my brother Bill's funeral and was so surprised to read of her death in the paper. My sincerest sympathy to her children and her family. Her passing is a great loss to many.

To have known Colleen was to have known a gentle spirit who had a zest for life and a profound love for her children. I would always tell her what wonderful kids she had and what a wonderful job she did of raising them. She would smile and laugh and was to modest to acknowledge it, but those of us who know Taylor, Halley and Cory know that her values and morals have been instilled in them. Heaven has gained the angel that we have lost on earth. Colleen has touched me in ways that I shall remember forever.
Taylor, Halley and Cory, please know how sorry I am for your loss and how much I love you all.

Dear Taylor, Halley, Corey. I was so saddened to learn of Colleen's passing. I remember watching you all grow up across the street on Werner Park and enjoying all your mom's stories as she made me beautiful in many different salons. She was so smart and loved her life. Her reverence of family, I know, included her siblings and parents. My you all find comfort in each other.

I was very saddened to hear of Colleen's life having been cut short. Though I now live 5000 miles away, in Israel, my daughter Jenny and I had the opportunity to visit Colleen over the past couple of years. Last time we visited her, she was cleaning out the basement of the family home and seemed to be very happy in her new life with Paul in the home she grew up in. I used to live next door at 232 Edgerton Street and have very many fond memories of Colleen. She taught me to love horses and I am now a horse doctor. She hurt her back teaching me how to ride horseback. We also raised hamsters together. Her love of animals helped awaken the love of animals in me that I wasn't really aware existed. Thanks to her, I found my calling in life, as a veterinarian. I wish to extend my condolences to the family. I am sorry that I will not be able to be there with you. I realize that some wounds never heal, but I hope that you each manage to find comfort in each other. My heart goes out to you.
