Obituary of Zepure Hampar

On November 2, 2011 at age 97. Predeceased by her husband, Vartan; brother, Vasken Acemyan. Survived by her daughters, Seta & husband David Eckert and Linda & husband Robert Kremens; grandchildren, Matthew & Brenda Kremens; brother, Kamer & wife Verjin Acemyan; nieces, Emma & Tanya and their children; nephew, Sercho, niece, Alin Acemyan of Istanbul, Turkey. Born in Istanbul, Turkey and residing in New York City for most of her life until coming to Rochester in 2000. She enjoyed a long life; seeking out new friends and experiences in all the many places she lived and visited. Her strength, courage and determination will be missed. A prayer service will be held in the Interfaith Chapel of Miller Funeral Homes (3325 Winton Rd. S.) on SATURDAY at 12 PM. Private funeral services and interment will be held in Bayside, NY at a later date. Donation in her memory may be made to the Friends of Holy Martyrs Armenian School (209-15 Horace Harding Exp.
