Obituary of Francis D. Champion

On December 9, 2011 at age 88, with his family by his side and in lively hope of the Resurrection. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Elanore Grenier in 1989. He is survived by his beloved wife Diane E. Ripton; daughter, Theodora (Jon McGrew) Champion; sons John (Daren Leonard) Champion and Edouard (Barbara) Champion; grandchildren, Alexis, Jon Jr., Janae and Jachelle; sisters, Corinne and Linda; brothers, Thomas and Robert; Diane's children Patrick (Missy) Ripton, Erin (John) Dalberth and her grandchildren Trisha, Jonathan, Johnny and Shannon. Per Annos MCMXLII in Societate Jesu Vivebat B.A. Fordham University; M.A. and Ph.L, Woodstock College / Gregorian University, Rome. In his retirement, starting in 1990, he enjoyed foreign travel, literature, music, drama, skiing, golf and gardening. His memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church (26 Mendon-Iona Rd.) on MONDAY at 10:00AM. Click here for map to Church Interment private.
