Obituary of Anna Isabel Rokos

Passed away peacefully on December 14, 2011 at the age of 91. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Anna is survived by her children: Robert, Jack (Charlene Cotter), Mary Ann Pavone, David (Linda Magnus), Paul (Meg Davidson), and Alice (John Gordon); grandchildren: Sarah Rubright (Cal), Adam Rokos, Dylan Rokos (Nicole Padgett), Erika Schoell (Michael), Lindsay Rokos (Gerry Snyder), Lauren Williams (David), Kyle Gordon, Timothy Pavone, Kayla Pavone, Katarzyna Rokos, Zachary Rokos & Kymberle Gordon; 5 great grandchildren: Grace, Gerry, Abby, Xander & Baby Rokos (due February of 2012); several nieces & nephews. Anna is predeceased by her husband, John S. Rokos; her mother and father, Mary Louise & George (Bert) Elliott, and brothers, Herbert and William. Anna was born and raised in Rochester, New York; was a life long member of St. Boniface Church and was known as the matriarch of her family with incredible inner strength which shown as a soft light on the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. Interment was private. Children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family & friends of Anna Isabel Rokos are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to celebrate the life and love of our Mother, Grandmother, our GG. Mass shall be held at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory Street, Rochester NY at 10 AM on January 14, 2012.
