Bompa,
Just when I thought things would get easier, being back to school and all I found its much harder. I miss you so much. Knowing your not in your chair reading your books just make me so sad. I miss all of your Navy Stories. I am so proud to call you my Grandfather for evry reason. There is a reason why so many people attened the services. It is because you ARE a great soul. You ARE my biggest role model and I never got to tell you that face to face. I always will look up to you and remember all of the times we spent together. We are so close and I miss it. How many other teenage boys my age would go to their grand parents house as much as we all did. That right there is proof of how much we all love you, friends family and everyone else. You know I could really go for another story about Japan or Hawaii. My favorite story was about the big atomic tests you did, you know you remeber :) All of the lunches you made me when I was working, I will never forget those time we would sit and watch history or the military channel and I would only watch those channels with you. So I know when I watch them from now on you will be watching them with me where ever I am. Thoses were ours. Grandpa I just want to say thank you for everything. From hockey trips to just teaching me the many lessons you tought me. I will never forget them. I love you so much please look over us all.
Love,
Corey

We were sorry to learn of Mike Sr's passing. We have many fond memories of the good times we had as friends and parents of 2 teenage boys and their younger "pain in the neck" siblings. From the fifth grade through their marriages. We four did it together. Thanks for the memories.
