I am sorry to hear about the loss of Daisy. What a beautiful video you put together of her life! It looks as if she had such a full and wonderful life. I loved the poem that you had at the end. It brought back memories of when my mom had passed away and reminded me how lucky I was to have her. May all of the memories you have help you to make it through the rough times. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Cindy, Chip, Terry and Chris,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Another member of our extended family's greatest generation has now joined what must be a great celebration in heaven. (I am confident my mother and our fathers are right there and they have saved your mother a place at the bridge table!)
While it is never easy to say goodbye, our faith and the many happy memories are truly sustaining. God Bless "Aunt Daisy" and all of your family.

To all the Klee's: I am sorry to hear of her death. I will always have good thoughts of her as one of the good, loving Mom's of Varinna Drive who didn't mind that her side yard did not have much grass on it because it was used as a kickball/baseball field.
My thoughts are with you all.

I always felt lucky that I grew up on Varinna Dr. The Varinna Dr. moms made sure that our neighborhood was safe, happy, and well-fed. "Mrs. Klee" has now joined those other moms, and I'm guessing that they are having great fun reminiscing about those good times.

I have so many fond memories of your mother. One that comes to mind is walking up the steps of 149 Varinna Dr. and asking"can Chippy come out and play"Mrs. Klee would bend down an say "he'll be right out Donny"Then there was the famous singsong "hee-ak-eee" when the street lights went on!There is no doubt Rosemary is now in a place of joy and clarity with your Dad and other loved ones welcoming her over.I loved your Mom and I love you guys.It is no coincidence we lived next to one another.May she rest in peace.

Where do I begin to tell you what Daisy Klee has meant to me. I remember the first time I saw the movie "A Christmas Story" - at one point the narrator says, that's my mom...she hasn't had a warm meal in ten years. And I thought...TEN?! I know a woman who hasn't had a warm meal in forty years..Daisy Klee. Because she was always busy doing for others. She always wanted to know if you needed more potatoes...or 7 layer salad...or another pork chop - as her meal sat there getting cold.
Daisy Klee was all about service to others. Whether it was family, or Catholic Family Services, she was the embodiment of selflessness.
Daisy was known by many names in her life. She bestowed on me the honor of being allowed to call her...Ma! It was one of the the greatest gifts anyone ever gave me.
I will miss you, Ma. Oh, my gosh, how I will miss you.
God Bless+

Daisy, I was so happy when we moved our mom into St. John's Hastings and saw your name as her next-door neighbor!!! When I saw your name on the door I KNEW that we had made the right decision for our mom. Loved talking with you about Notre Dame. Hope you work those ND socks up to Heaven. Please talk to the Big Man about next year's season. I KNOW He'll listen to your. Love and hugs, Mary Ellen and Jerry Murray

Mom, you were my Mom and one of my best friends from the moment we met. Always introduced me as "your daughter", and what an honor that was! Ever hopeful, always faithful, loving, kind and beautiful in every way! I loved your fiesty spririt, your mentoring and encouragement, your voracious zest for life. A true example of the Proverbs 31 woman. "A wife (and woman) of noble character,...She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom. Her children all arise and call her blessed... Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all....Lord, give her the reward which she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate". I know Dad Klee met you at the gate with our Lord, and rejoiced at your smiling face. Thank you. And I will be looking for you when I enter that gate!

Thirty-one years ago Daisy responded to my call for a Religious Education teacher. She so faithfully and lovingly shared with the little children, who Jesus is. Today, Daisy has finally received her reward for her faithfulness and love. She SEES who Jesus is.
Daisy, may you rest in the peace of the loving embrace of Jesus.
