Obituary of Jeanne P. Newell

Jeanne (Polimeni) Newell Brighton NY: On August 30, 2010, born in Canandaigua, NY on September 22, 1924 to Frank and Anna Polimeni. Predeceased by her parents as well as: husband, James J. Newell in 1984; daughter, Jeanne Elizabeth Newell Czubaj in 2002; daughter’s-in-law, Polly Conner Newell in 1985 and Stacie Malley Newell in 2008. Survived by her daughters, Fran (Bob) Trouskie of Greece and grandson Bobby Trouskie, Jr. of Charlotte, Lucy (Ray) Gurka of Tampa, FL; sons, James (Sally) J. Newell, Jr of Rush and grandchildren TJ, Brianna and Lexi, Patrick Newell of Brighton and grandchildren Sam and Tess, Michael (Silvana) Newell of Gates and grandchildren Frank and Elizabeth; son-in-law, Lt. Col. Norman “Buddy” (Caroline) Czubaj, Jr (USAF) and daughters Sierra and Arianna; her loyal dachshund companion, Blue; sister and brothers in Canandaigua, Lucy Geise, John (Ellen) Polimeni, and Vince (Rosalie) Polimeni; sisters-in-law, Margaret Canali of Indiana, Marge Newell, Kathleen Newell and MaryAnn Newell Knutson and her family all of Minnesota. She leaves behind many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, as well as all of her Castle Inn family and her many friends at Lifetime Assistance (Paul Road) where she worked up until her death. The family would like to thank Dr. L. Mary Mathew for her competent and compassionate care of Jeanne. Also, thanks to the 4-1200 Palliative Care staff at Strong for taking care of the entire Newell family during Jeanne’s stay. Family and Friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc.
