We have only know Flossie and Skip for a few short years. Our friendship is of great comfort to us now. Flossie was the most wonderful and gracious person. We will miss her dearly. Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to Skip and her entire family.

The entire Twigg Family sends our condolences. We all have wonderful memories of Flossie and Skip and their Shore Drive home. So sorry to read of Flossie's passing. What a dear lady.
As Kathy's friends back in the late 60s and 70s, we got to meet and share time with the whole family, including Skip and his lovely wife.
I still remember the time I brought yards of material with hopes that she could help me make a MaxiCoat, since I figured the coat pattern worked as the paper needed as a 1st Wedding Anniversary gift. She was funny.

I have fond memories of Flossie when she, Skip and family lived on Shore Drive. We also attended church together, women's church group, choir. My children remember her fondly when on cold days while awaiting the school bus, she would call them into her home to offer them hot chocolate and cookies. I remember her wonderful contributions to church dinners and her home made bread. She never had a bad word for anyone, and was a lovely gracious woman. We remember her with love and our condolences go out to Skip and family. I know she is in the arms of God.

When we last visited Skip & Flossie in 2010 we reminisced about the wonderful lifelong friendship between our families as we enjoyed Flossie’s fresh baked cookies. Our mother considered Flossie one of her very best friends and always marveled at her service to others in the community and of course her extraordinary cooking skills! Our thoughts are with Skip and the entire family as we know how much Flossie will be missed.

I list "Friend" as my relation to Flossie because even though I knew her only briefly, she did for me the way a person would do for their dearest friends. July 13, 2006 Flossie and Skip welcomed their niece Suzy and me to their home for dinner, conversation, an overnight stay and breakfast while Suzy and I were in their neighborhood hiking the Finger Lakes Trail. Anyone reading this who's had the pleasure of dining on Flossie's home-cooked meals can just taste the deliciousness of what she served us: her chicken cassserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, broccoli, salad, lemon-filled angel cake with whipped cream and local blueberries. We talked about family, Nihal and Brian's wedding, Welsh naming conventions: e.g. Gilbert Gilbert, Mills Mills, and Flossie's love of her husband Skip and their daughters. A lovely woman of grace and good cheer, may you rest in peace, dear Flossie.

I'm so glad I had that time together with Aunt Flossie and Uncle Skip a few summers back while my friend, Marilyn, and I were hiking the Finger Lakes Trail. It was such a treat to stay the night with them, to enjoy her delicious cooking and the fun reminiscing we did together. We'll miss you, Aunt Flossie.
