Obituary of Helen Nealon

On March 1, 2012. Peacefully surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Katherine Kelly; son-in-law, John Warden, and her infant son James. Survived by her devoted husband of 56 Years, Robert; sister, Mary Woodard, and her loving children, Robert (Kathy), Patricia Mitchell (Dave), Eugene (Jenny), and Suzanne Schilling (Kurt). Also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Bess Warden; Anna, Theresa, Louisa Schilling; Margaret Kelly; Bobby, Brigid, Molly, and Annie Nealon; Connor and Kit Nealon. Helen was born in Scranton, PA in 1931 where she married Robert in 1954. With her family of four children, Robert, Patricia, Eugene and Suzanne, Helen relocated to Pittsford in 1963. She was employed by St. John Fisher College for 25 years as Director of Purchasing. She was respected and admired by her colleagues. She was active in St. Louis School and Parish and enjoyed the activities and friendships at the Southeast YMCA, she loved music, social gatherings and all things Irish. Yet her greatest pleasure lay in family, faith and friends. Helen will be greatly missed for her kindness, wisdom and smiling Irish eyes. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms.
