Obituary of Irene K. Mismas

Irene Mismas Rochester, NY: Passed away on March 6, 2012, surrounded by loving family and friends after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, she is survived by her daughter and son in law, Susanna and Patrick Adams of Rochester, grandsons Christopher and Michael Adams of Rochester, sister and brother in law Gabriella and Janos Almasy of Pilismarot, Hungary, nephew Zoltan Almasy of Mississaugua, Canada, brother in law and sister in law George and Janice Mismas, and many nieces and nephews. Born in 1934 in Visegrad, Hungary, Irene and her family emigrated to the US in 1966, and built a beautiful life together, first in New Haven and Cheshire, CT, and later in Englewood, FL. Irene brought joy to the lives of everyone who knew her, and will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at St. Raphael’s church in Englewood, Florida (Click for a Map to the Church) on Tuesday, March 13th at 10:00 AM, to be followed by interment at Gulf Pines Memorial Park.
