Born Hay
On March 09, 2012, surrounded by his beloved family at Strong Memorial Hospital Born passed away peacefully. Predeceased by his parents, Ean and Chheng Hay; brother, Ngourn Hay. Survived by his devoted wife of 50 Years, Phanry; brothers, KimHong Hay (Siv), Hoan Ean (Sophan), Eng Hay (Sriv), Tay Hay (Neang); sister, Kinheng Ean; and his three loving children, Chinara (Kanitha), Dar, and Mouly Mains (Patrick). Also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Alexander Hay; CK Hay, Kassandra Hay, and Ethan Mains; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mr. Born Hay was born in Kompong Cham, Cambodia on March10, 1940 where he married Phanry on May 12, 1962. In Cambodia he served as a Diplomat for the Cambodian Embassy in Peking China, Senegal Africa, and Bangkok Thailand. After the fall of Cambodia in 1975, He relocated to West Irondequoit in 1975 with his family of three children, Chinara, Dar, and Mouly. He was employed as a technician for Ultra Electronics Flightline Systems in Victor for the last 21 years. He was well respected and admired by his colleagues. He was the founder of the Cambodian Association in Rochester. Yet his greatest pleasure lay in family, faith and friends. Born will be greatly missed for his kindness, caring, wisdom and unforgettable smiling face. May he rest in peace in God's loving place.
