My thoughts and prayers to Uncle Larry's Companion, Children, Brothers and Sister. I remember Uncle Larry as a young child and to much of my surprise when I heard of his passing reflected on memories that where tucked way in the back of my mind. May you rest in peace Uncle Larry and have the contentment of knowing your children have certain characteristics of you that have contributed to each one of them being the unique indviduals that you are. God Bless, Tracy Clark

Dear Betty and Rick, I too want to thank you for accepting and loving my father AND taking good care of him these last years of his life.
So much history and many memories go through my mind....however, I am grateful that I was able to both ask for forgiveness and GIVE forgiveness back to my father wholeheartedly in 2009 at a Father's Day luncheon that we had for him at Shoen Place. How I wished my father had been well enough that day to receive my words-that despite everything...I do love him (but that was not possible that day).
It was very personally sad to me that our father was denied (and we too) the privilege of truly growing together and enjoying one another throughout the years(much of this due to illness beyond control & life's blows that came). However, I am truly grateful to Our Heavenly Father, God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, that my father lived long enough to be at peace in his last years and experience happiness.
My father gave me the gift of living long enough to work through a lifetime of grief and get to a place of total acceptance, love, and forgiveness...even though he was not there for much of it.
I am grateful to Our Holy Almighty Creator of the Universe for the life of my father. I know that my father touched many peoples lives in many different ways. My father was an intelligent, gifted, sensitive man...and I am so glad that he will not suffer any more pain, disappointment, sickness, or hurt from this world any more.
REST IN PEACE DAD...I love you and I pray that you are totally in Jesus' arms and that I see you again someday...
Your loving daughter who wished for a lifetime a different reality...yet accepts what you had to give with gratitude! <3

Betty, I can not tell you how thankful I am that Dad was able to be happy with you this last chapter of his life. As you know, he was a unique one of a kind man and that you loved him, accepted him, and shared a lifetime of loving him is a gift to me. As his eldest daughter, I held many roles in his life, many of them painful for me, but as I reflect on his life, all I can feel is gratitude. With a lifetime of thougths and feeling regarding Dad, I am so grateful that he was not alone and that he was loved. Today, after a night full of leaving memories, I feel sad. My life with Dad was a different experience than yours, I was his parent and provider for many years. I forgave him and thanked him many years ago and again today, give thanks for many of my assets were developed by my experiences with Dad. I look forward to meeting you Saturday.
Rick, I almost said eldest and than recalled, you are older than me. So you are the eldest.......... fondly, Marlene
