Obituary of Edwin Earl Motsenbocker

On May 30, 2012 at age 89, with his family by his side. He is predeceased by his wife Jean. Survived by his children; Karen, Marvin, Ken (Connie), Carl (Cheryl), Mary Ellen (JD); grandchildren, Tom, Dan, Emily, Lynda, Rachael, Cameron, Layne, Mari, Paula, Hanna, Eli, Eoin, Maria and Thierry; brother, Albert Wylaz; sister, Marion Anderson, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Ed was a WWII Veteran receiving a Purple Heart, Croix de Guerre Avec Palme, and Honorable Discharge. After his retirement from the Cornell Cooperative Extension Service, he worked with the Polish National 4H Council and the Church World Service in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. His retirement years were spent in Harmony Bay, Canada with Jean and his family. Ed enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, and bridge playing. The family will receive friends in the Penfield United Methodist Church (1795 Baird Rd.) on SATURDAY (July 7th) from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Ed's memorial service will be celebrated in the Penfield United Methodist Church on SATURDAY (July 7th) at 11:00 AM.
