Dear Yokes family, I am so sorry about your loss. I know this is a difficult time for you. I wanted to give you some comfort from the Bible. A lot of people want to know if there is any hope for their dead loved ones. The Bible teaches us that most people who have died will be resurrected. Jesus promised us in John 5:28,29: " do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment." Isn't that a wonderful thing, to have a hope of seeing your loved ones again.
In harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. It will be wonderful not to worry about ever getting sick and dying. The Bible states in Psalm 37:29 " the righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." If you have any questions please contact your local Jehovahs Witness's in your area

Grandpa Bernie was the closest thing I ever had to a grandpa. I loved him so much and every time I saw him he left me felling like I was one of his own. I am going to miss seeing Grandpa Bernie when I visit New York and I know that there are many wonderful things that are happening in his new journey in the next life. I love you Grandpa.
