On June 27, 2012 at age 75. He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Carol (Reynolds) Laging. Survived by his children, Scott (Lara) Laging, Lori (Tim) Chamot; grandchildren, Kyle, Garrett and Danielle Chamot, Jonathan Latiuk and many dear friends Richard was an avid bowler and loved to golf.
