May the God of Tender Mercy be
A souce of Comfort to you during
your time of Bereavement.
God whose name is JEHOVAN and his son JESUS, are concerned over your loss. Their promise is that our love one can live again
(read John 5:28&29).Not only will he rid of DEATH,he will get rid of sickness also (read Revelation 21:3&4 & Isaiah 33:24). Hes gettin rid of SICKNESS & DEATH because it was never his purpose for us to get sick and DIE.
During this difficult time, God's Word can be a GREAT COMFORT
for you and your family.

One Special Afternoon~
Helen says, "I will pick you up in the afternoon and we will go to the shop together". Browsing, a quiet bonding~, and conversation. I say, "What did you get?' and she shows me a tiny kitchen whisk. Another opportunity to do the same, and she says, "I can't make it and I enjoyed that shop so much!"
Last week I am assembling items in a ceramic kitchen bowl- I arrange all the many whisks around the edge of the bowl...and then I thought, 'Helen'....

My condolences and sympathy to all. So unexpected and quickly. No one is ever prepared. Difficult to come to terms with this...A neighbor of just 3 doors away and difficult to sum up. From very early childhood thru to just weeks ago, Helen was there with an open door, always a kind thoughtful word and caring gestures of support. To finding a extra ticket for a evening together to thoughtful Xmas gifts that assisted in my supply of a special oil and walking sticks too! If you don't mind, next two entries, a afternoon with Helen and poem.

Mrs. Gillis was the neighborhood mom. She was always welcoming to all the friends of her children. The Gillis house was the neighborhood hangout for many of us. My sympathies to the entire Gillis family. I will miss dropping in to see her whenever visiting Rochester.

She was much more than a mother-in-law, she was my mom-in-law. I will love her always, just as much as my own mom who I lost in 2003. I hope she and David have found each other in Heaven.
