I will always remember Barry O'Brien as the kindest, funniest & personable gentleman! He was the kind of person you were grateful to have in your life. I am so sorry for our loss - but also I am so pleased that I had the honor to know him. Although some times we probably drove him crazy...he never let it show. Aunt Vicky,Shelley, John, Shannon and Family,
What could I possibly say? Uncle Barry was one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I feel truly blessed to have had him as an Uncle. As Mom used to say, "Your Uncle Barry is one in a million." That is the simple truth. He always had a way to make you feel special. I will never forget his patience and grace waiting in the car in the freezing winter so the Holm sisters could talk another half hour. I wish I could be there to give my love and support, but my thought and prayers are with you.
Love, Lori and Family

From the moment I met Barry many years ago he made me feel like family. My thoughts keep returning to all the happy holidays at Grosvenor Rd…the door would open and we would be met by a bevy of Holm Girls and cousins. It would take a wonderful forever to receive all the hugs and kisses. Then the sea of family would part and there would be Barry, smiling with a twinkle in his eye. He would always be in the middle of the cooking and preparations, making sure everyone had whatever they needed. He always made me laugh, and I cherish the unconditional love he gave to me and my daughters. He was the epitome of the family patriarch, and my words cannot express just how much he meant to me. Dear cousins, my love goes out to you all.
