Barry E. O'Brien
Henrietta: Passed peacefully October 4, 2009 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his parents, John P. & Helen O'Brien; brothers, Jeremiah O'Brien and John P. O'Brien Jr.; nephew, Steven; and beloved wife of 38 years, Laura (Holm) O'Brien. Barry is survived by his devoted wife, Victoria O'Brien; loving children, Shelley (Nadia Rusinovich) O'Brien, John (Lindsay) O'Brien, Shannon O'Brien; step daughters, Lisa Luke & Gina Rideout; precious grandchildren, McKalli Reid O'Brien, Cody & Alexis Rideout; sister, Mary Jane (Rich) Stryzelecki; brother, Patrick (Norma) O'Brien; sister-in-law, Shirl O'Brien; brothers-in-law, Phil (Jan) Nicolosi, John (Margie) Garland & David (Linda) Garland; many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends too numerous to mention.
A retired partner of Billitier Electric, Barry was also the owner of General Lighting Services. He was a US Army veteran and a graduate of Aquinas Institute.
Barry was loved and respected by every one who had the privilege to know him. We will miss him dearly and hold him close to our hearts forever.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday 1:00 - 3:00 & 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). Barry's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. (Click for a Map to Church), on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
