Prayers with the family.
Cathy was a co-worker and a neighbor in the Upper Monroe neighborhood many years ago. Cathy was very committed to the handicapped community, especially in the provision of transportation services. I will always remember the all too many local transportation meetings and the trips to Washington DC's China Town during the annual Transportation Research Board conferences. I will miss her advocacy on behalf of the handicapped community.

We were sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. I still recall the advocacy challenges that the "team" confronted in often very humorous and, yes, silly ways. We were heard and that was the goal. Good and happy memories.

Cathy Towner was a fierce advocate for accessible and affordable transportation services. I will miss her--and I am grateful for having had the chance to know her and be her friend. I will think of her often.
