Dear Joan & Family, please accept my sincere wishes on your loss of Larry.I met him when I went to the HO CCD underwriting school and then during my career as an underwriter in California and in Rochester. His practical, straightforward advise and counsel is still etched in my mind.He was astute in understanding our world of risk and underwriting. He was a mentor and a great lunch companion as nothing escaped him and his sense of humor.Vaya Con Dios Larry you have earned your rest .

Larry and Joan has been close friends and a neighbor ever since we moved from UK 25 years ago.
Unfortunately Barb is away in UK attending to her mother and she is sad that she is here for Joan.
Larry would walk over and chat to us and joke with us when we were out in the garden.
I always stopped by to chat to Larry on my daily walks, it was a pleasure to chat and listen to his dry humor. Barb and I will miss Larry very much and Joan can call on us for anything she needs anytime.

It has been many years since I have been able to enjoy our friendship with one of the nicest families we have ever known. Larry was gregarious, ebullient and so full of life. His love of his family and his two wonderful daughters was legendary - his wit was sharp, clear but never caustic. Although a really good tennis player himself, I well remember him because he never groaned when he drew me as a
teammate......which is indicative of
of what Larry was - a good, kind,
decent, funny, friendly friend and
neighbor who was always inclusive and never excluding.
Joan, Debbie and Donna the years have gone by but you are as fresh in my mind as ever.
