Obituary of Sallie M. Arpag

Sallie M. Arpag January 28, 2016 died peacefully at age 86. Survived by sons Mark (Cherie), Dean (Cindy), Peter (Karen), seven grandchildren; Justin, Jason (Justine), Amy, Alex (Julia), Lauren, Sean, Sarah and one great grandchild, Greyson. She was also loved and cherished by her extended family and many friends. A lifelong resident of the Rochester area, Sallie graduated from Brighton High School in 1947 and from RIT in 1950, where she met and eventually married beloved husband Bekir, deceased in May 2015. Sallie loved nature and the outdoors, always taking time to cherish life and to appreciate even the smallest treasure. She will be sorely missed and remembered as one of the kindest, most compassionate people ever encountered. The family is holding private services to celebrate Sallie’s life.
