I'm deeply sorry for your loss. For the loved ones grieving, I hope this scripture will bring you comfort, as it has for myself. Isaiah 41:10 speaks of God fortifying us, that he will give us strength in these difficult times. It goes on to say he is holding onto us with His right hand of righteousness. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss.

I am deeply sorry for your loss and grief but the bible promises us at Acts 24:15 that There will be a resurrection of the dead. Therefore, you and your family can find comfort and solace in God's promises found in the bible, for he is the "God of tender mercies and comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3).

When a loved one dies your grief can be great, even though you may hope in the resurrection. To shed tears is not unnatural. Abraham came in to bewail Sarah and to weep over her. (Genesis 28:2) So when someone you loved dies it does not show weakness to cry. However, because of the resurrection your sorrow will pass.

I knew Liz only from chatting with her occasionally, at the Maplewood Y. She struck me as a very upbeat person, always cheerful and chatty despite being able to get around only with her walker. I already miss her. But she is now no longer in pain, and running freely! My condolences to her family.
