Obituary of Darryl Joe Burroughs, Sr.

Legacy of Darryl Joe Burroughs Sr. Faithful, devoted husband and father, Darryl Joe Burroughs departed this earthly body, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 and went immediately into the presence of the Lord; after battling pancreatic cancer. Left to honor and cherish his memories are his surviving Wife, Adrienne Burroughs, Father, Joe Lee, Children, Clifton, Calvin, Sherard, Darryl Jr, his daughter Lesley (Artemesia), Brother, Donald, 11 grandchildren and other Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Darryl served over 28 years as a New York State Trooper, and 7 of those years as a School Resource Officer at Sodus Central Schools, Sodus, NY. Darryl was a very giving, loving and kind person. He always had kind words of wisdom, a listening ear and sound Godly counsel. Darryl was so loved and touched many lives. He will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to call on MONDAY, June 6th from 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY, Monday, June 7th at 11:00 AM in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be follow the service in White Haven Memorial Park. A Meal of Repass will be held following the Interment Service, in the Bushman Cabin at the Henrietta Town Park, 595 Calkins Road from 1:00 – 3:30 PM.
