Our heartfelt condolences to the Ramanan family. It is a great loss felt by our family and the entire Rochester Tamil community. Ramanan was best known to us for his love for Tamil culture and tradition. We reminisce about the numerous musicals and dramas that many of us have performed and enjoyed with him at Tamil Sangam events. When we think of Ramanan, at once a happy beaming face comes to mind. We will dearly miss his lively and cheerful presence. Fortunately he has left behind many joyous memories for us to hold onto. May his soul rest in peace.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Ramanan. We did not have the pleasure of knowing him personally, but have heard good things about him and his dedication to Tamil Sangam. Rochester Tamil Sangam grieves with his family and our thoughts are with his family.
