Obituary of Mary Lou Knapp

Mary Lou Knapp (Bardeen) Passed away on November 3, 2016 at age 76. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard & Kathryn Bardeen; sisters, Jean Cummings, Helene Witzman. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Daryl Knapp, Jr.; children, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Mellin, Michael (Tina) Knapp, Kristin (Robert) Conway, Joseph B. (Wende) Knapp; grandchildren, Rachel Mellin, Hannah & Michaela Knapp, Emilie & Jacob Conway; sisters, Shirley (Phil) Livingston, Nancy Premo, Lois Miller, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Mary Lou's life was greatly blessed by the students and staff of the Aquinas Institute of Rochester, by the love and support of the good people of St. Joseph's Church, Rush and by the students and members of the Newman Community at RIT. She is also indebted to the entire Oncology Department of Highland Hospital and to the Radiation Department at Pluta Cancer Center for their abundance of care, concern, and love shown to her at every level. Friends and family may call SUNDAY, Nov. 6th from 2-5 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Mary Lou's Funeral Mass will be held in St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 6105 Rush-Lima Road on TUESDAY, Nov. 8th at 10 AM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Aquinas Institute, St. Marianne Cope Parish or the Newman Community at R.I.T.
