Obituary of Walter Asque Fendley

Fendley, Walter A. Originally from Norfolk, VA, passed away on November 11, 2016 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Christine (Maxwell); daughters, Sara Jane (Geoff Wilson), Christine Elizabeth, and Maryasque Catharine. Walter attended William and Mary, graduated from the University of Maryland, and served in the US Air Force in the newly formed Strategic Air Command during the Korean War. He served on the vestries of Christ Church, Rockville, MD and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Rochester, NY where he also headed the ushers for 12 years. He retired from Xerox and EDS as a computer analyst. Noted for his kindness and graciousness, he was a true gentleman. A Celebration of his Life will be held on SATURDAY, December 3rd at 11AM in Christ Episcopal Church, 36 South Main Street, Pittsford. Donations in his memory may be made to Christ Episcopal Church Pittsford or the Friends of the Rochester Public Library.
