David...I just now read that your wonderful wife died last week. My heart goes out to you. Julie was a special person who always had a smile. We reconnected when I was teaching at MCC a few years ago. My deepest condolences, David. I know your faith will comfort you.

I was so sad to hear about Juli. I taught with her at Mercy in the 90s, and she was such a kind friend and mentor to me as a new English techer. Her gentle spirit and infectious smile will always be remembered.

Dear David,
So sorry for your loss. Julie was a wonderful student and teacher at Mercy. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I remember her as a student when I first started teaching at Mercy and then she started teaching there when I was there. Good memories. She was such a talented individual! Interesting how you met her and I remembered you from Nazareth College (remember the French Club!). Small world. Even though our paths have not crossed recently, please accept my deepest sympathies.

There are no words...Julie was a gifted woman and I had the privilege of directing her in a Good Shepherd dinner theatre play years ago. We have lost touch through the years, but I'll never forget her big, beautiful smile and her love for her students. I pray that God will give you the strength you need at this time of loss. Know that she was well loved.

I have been so deeply moved at the news of Mrs. Palma's passing, and it is with profound sadness that I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family. There are those teachers we have all had, who affected us in many ways, whose names we remember for many years... and then there are those whose lessons remain with us and are called upon every single day. My love of words, the joy I experience using language, the educational successes I accomplished as my education progressed, these all resulted from the Person she was, the Educator she was, the remarkable Human Being she was. The teachings she imparted made me who I am, even to this day, and it is a rare time when I am not thinking of her, nor considering the value in what she provided me.
Thank you, Mrs. Palma. You will live in many hearts for a very, very long time.
