I was saddened to read of Dietgard's passing. In recent years we have not been close but I so remember the early years when she first arrived in Rochester, NY from Germany, newly divorced, with her two young children.
She was full of determination to do well in the U.S. and indeed she did.
I met up with her volunteering at Geva in later years always working hard and achieving. She will be missed.

Dear Cornelia, Stephan and family,
I wanted to express my sincere condolences for your loss. I was surprised and saddened to read of Dee's passing. Dee and I worked together in the same laboratory at Pennwalt for several years. She was always an energetic, friendly and fun co-worker. Years later my wife and I would see her at GEVA and stop to chat. I will remember her fondly.
With warmest regards
Carl

I'm so sorry to hear of Dee's passing. She was such a funny lady and always had us laughing during the Ronald McDonald garage sales. A generous lady, she will be missed. I am so glad that I had the privilege of volunteering with her.

I lived across the street from your mom on Spencer Road until 1988. I was so sorry to see the notice in the paper. I sent a message to Cornelia on facebook. I would love to talk to you, Cornelia, about your mom. I left contact information on facebook and my email is listed here as well. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. She was a very sweet lady. We always exchanged Christmas cards and letters. I always enjoyed receiving them. I will always remember her fondly.

Sorry to hear of Dee's passing. I ushered with Dee at GEVA and RBTL, most recently in July.when we served lunch to the students. She was and inspiration - she never complained.

Dear Cornelia,
My heart goes out to you on the loss of your Mother. It is like another generation passing on. I am now the oldest in our family (80) and only have a younger Sister, my two brothers having passed on. I'm sure you were a great comfort to her. Horst and I so enjoyed our time with your family. Remember all the happy times and she will always be in your heart.
Love always,
Maureen.

Cornelia, Words, however kind, can’t mend your heartache, but those who care for you share your grief and wish you comfort and peace of mind. Your mom will be deeply missed. But will be remembered every time you pass the gardens at the Ronald McDonald House.
