Survived by his wife, Ponama Balakrishnan; children and their spouses, Mini (Vinod) Menon, Malini Balakrishnan (Sanjay Parthasarathy) & Maya (Kunal) Puri; grandchildren, Ananya, Kavya & Vivek; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
