Dear Mary, Harry, Bill and families,
It was such a terrible surprise to see Bob's name in the paper.
I think of him so often as I drive down Rt. 31 in Pittsford. (I only live a few miles from him in Egypt, NY)
I have wanted to phone him several times to see how everyone is doing but, as it always goes, I procrastinated to long.
Bob brought your mom over to my house a few times for lunch and it was a pleasure to see them both and reminisce. He did this until she became to frail to travel the distance to Rochester. I had also seen him grocery shopping where we had some very nice visits.
As I have mentioned to Mary, I have very happy memories of times at your home on W. Henrietta Rd. In all sincerety, those were actually the best times of my life.
I am praying for your comfort and peace at this very sad time in your lives.
With love and fond memories,
Nancy Meisenzahl Churnetski

My most sincere sympathies to you Rob and Jackie and your families. I will miss Dad’s subtle sense of humor and especially his ability to smile and laugh under the most stressful situations. Hugs.

So very sorry for your loss. Bob worked with my dad, Don Dickerson, at the Times Union for many years. Both my parents were friends of his, and my mom ran into him again not too long ago at a square dancing group. We will always remember him for his kind, gentle spirit.
