Meg was such an amazing person in the short time frame that I got to know her. She always had a smile on her face, even if she was having a "cruddy" day. She always got through with her humor and personality. Even in the worst situations she knew how to make everyone smile. I am happy that she is no longer in pain and think about her often. We are thinking of Kris, her parents and the rest of her family. She will be shining down on all of you!

Charlie & Dee,
I was so terribly sorry to read of Meg's way-too-early passing. I know much you both love your girls...it must be such a shock to your hearts to lose Meg. Her obit here gave a wonderful insight into her life & loves & showed her love of life. I'm sure it has been a battle...I hate cancer...I feel certain you were w/ her every step of the way! Again, please know how sorry Don & I are.

Though Meg was taken from us way too soon, she always seemed to enjoy every minute of life! Meg's smile was contagious and the passion she had for her "Cubbies", Barbra and so many other pleasures in life, made her so very special to all who called her "friend".
Meg's final gift of her corneas, will no doubt bless those individuals with a very special way to view life.....full of beauty and excitement!

There are so many things to say that I'm sitting her unable to say anything. Though Meg an I have not seen each other in many years, she will always hold a place in my heart. She opened my eyes to so many things. I remember walking along Park Ave. while we were in college and her telling me that she would one day live there. We spent so many evenings walking around Fredonia talking, laughing and having fun. One night, Meg found an off color comic book on our way home from a party. I don't know what happened to that comic, but I do know that I did keep her from going to here sister's apartment and slipping it under her door. There is no one I would rather have spent my time in college with. You will be missed old friend. Mazel Tov good friend! I know that God is shining his light upon you!

When Betsy sent me the link to read Meg's obituary, the first thing that came to mind is her telling Kevin that if he didn't take care of me in Florida, she would hunt him down. You have to picture this...Meg-five in a half feet tall(if that)staring up at Kevin over six feet tall. That was Meg....no fear and protect the people you love.
I remember once in Buffalo, she and I talked about dying. I asked her if she ever thought of it and she said yes. She also said she wasn't afraid. No fear again and pure strength.
When I woke up this morning, I looked around to try to see if Meg would give me a sign to let me know she is OK. But then I realized she doesn't have to. I know in my heart she heard the feathers on the wings of angels and beautiful music as she entered heaven. And with all of her strength and determination she is now where she is supposed to be; fishing and getting ready for baseball season.
I love you Meg with all my heart and am so proud of you for YOU. I know you also wouldn't mind if I say I love you Bets for all of your support and wisdom to help Meg stay fearless this past year. You were an amazing big sister! And to Chuck and Dee for all of the unconditional love, time, support and tears you gave Meg, sending her off on her next journey.
