Obituary of Carlton E. Quallo
Died peacefully as he wished on February 22, 2018 at his home after battling ALS. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Hope; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Robert Osborne; brother, Art Quallo; son, Henry Titlebaum; son and daughter-in-law, Mike Titlebaum and Catherine Gale; son, Adam Quallo; grandchildren, Hannah, Zoe and Max Titlebaum, Aidan Quallo, Sam and Josh Wozniak; nieces and nephews, Joshua, Daniel and Rebecca Wesson, Mark and Rachel Waldstein, Robert Jr. and Alicia Osborne; and grand-nephew, J.P. Osborne.
He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1975, serving as a radar technician until 1979. He completed a B.S. in computer science and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester's Simon School. He was Vice President and Director of Operations at Telog Instruments, Inc. in Victor, NY, and was instrumental in the company's 2015 sale to Trimble (NASDQ:TRMB). He was also a passionate and gifted photographer, able to capture the spirit and essence of his family and friends in many portraits and candid shots over the years.
He was very grateful to the University of Rochester Hospice and the Canandaigua V.A. Home Care teams for their attention and kindness during his illness. Family will receive friends on SATURDAY (March 3) from 3 - 7 PM and SUNDAY (March 4) from 2 - 4 PM at the family residence.
