Missing this angel like crazy today. This woman was the best mother and grandmother you could ask for. You could have given her a broken coffee mug and she would tell you it was perfect. I am so grateful I had you for 28 years of my life. You ARE who I am today! I can finally have the last word with this argument. "I love YOU more!"

To my Aunt Diane, I love you and I already miss you. One thing I took away from all this is that I am extremely thankful that we have such a BIG, caring, loving, and supporting family, and Diane made sure we always did.
Diane always lived her life to the fullest. She never took anything or anyone for granted. She lived every day with enough enthusiasm for all of us. I will cherish you until we meet again. Love you my generous Aunt. I'm sure you are playing bingo, canasta, poker, and the slots with your heaven family. XOXO

My Mom was the most generous person I ever knew. She loved her family and wanted to see her grandsons all the time. We are gonna miss her like crazy!!! Her four grandsons meant the world to her. She loved spending time with them. She drove me crazy, but in the end. I was the one she needed to be with her. God bless my mom. The most caring nurturing, kindest soul anyone ever knew and if you didn’t know it then you didn’t look. Xoxoxo I will missy you Granny.

It is hard to imagine a family gathering without my dear Aunt Diane. She was truly pure of heart with an enthusiasm that was infectious. Her love of her big family had no bounds. She had a pride of each and every one of us that made us each feel special. Her love was our gift we will always cherish. I will miss her so. My Godmother was one who showed everyone she cam into contact with the true meaning of love. She embraced her family, friends and even strangers with pure kindness. My most valued memory was when I was 10 years old. Gina and I were in Aunt Carol and Uncle Tony's living room surrounding by our aunts and cousins. They were having a conversation that we, as young girls, did not have the capacity as our more mature relatives had. Yet, we still tried to speak. When Aunt Diane noticed that no one was listening to us, she stood up and with a loud voice announced that "Kids are people too"! With that, our relatives listened to what ever came out of our mouth from that point on, even though we didn't have a clue what we were trying to say. Aunt Diane is a true hero of the value and importance of children.

Any time I had the opportunity to be around Diane she was always friendly, smiling and happy. She was a real joy. I loved seeing her photos on social media of the casinos and the family reunion pictures were always my very favorite. The unconditional love that she had for life and for everyone around her was top notch.
She was such a sweet and special lady and will be missed immensely.

Maybe it's because I was an adult when I met my fantastic birth family, but I always felt like my aunt's were also my best friends. I watched Steel Magnolias the other day and thought of the dynamic of the woman tribe in that story and how closely it really correlates to ours. I've been known to bribe and try to brainwash my nieces and nephews into believing I am their favorite aunt, but the truth is I could never hold a candle to my Aunt Diane. I miss my aunt, my friend. Whilel there are plenty of funny stories and touching stories I could share, I just want to say there will never be another like her and I will miss her but I'm so thankful for having her in my life.
