Obituary of Diane Brock Benge

Diane Benge of Henrietta passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her family, on March 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Laurence Benge; Sisters: Betty Ong, June Figenscher, Shirley Mancinelli, Carol Trinchini, Anita Drumm, Sharon Brock and her brothers: Alfred and James Brock. She will be deeply missed by her children: Karen (Jeff) Dickson and Larry Benge; Grandchildren: John Benge, Nick Benge, Tyler Dickson and Joshua Benge; Brothers: George (Mary), Richard and Bucky (Sandie) Brock; Sister, Barbara (Jerry) Carney; Her “Second Daughter”: Linda Fischette; Nieces: Jodi (Robert) Zurat, Anna Coughlin and Gina Trinchini; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved dog, Brady. Diane was a gift-giver. She “Played Santa” for many years, making sure that all children would have something to open for Christmas. She took boy scouts to Cedar Point Scout Camp to ensure their receipt of their badges. She expressed that her fondest memory of her childhood and the most profound experience she had was attending the Rotary Sunshine Camp. That experience stayed with her and instilled in her a deep love of camping, an activity she was sure to spend every weekend doing - unless, of course, she was spending a day at the Casino. Go Bills! The family will receive family and friends between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm on THURSDAY, March 29, 2018 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd. S).
