I'm so sorry to discover that Gabe passed away. I spent time with him in Israel back in 1985, where we were extras together on the film The Delta Force. The following year I came to America (I'm British) and he put me up in his basement flat at his parents' place. We had a wonderful and valued friendship over that time, and we continued to correspond when I returned to Britain for university. Gabe was so generous and warm. I've looked for him on the internet many times over the years since we lost touch (I changed address four times in one year before there were mobile phones and the internet), but I never managed to find him. As I searched today and saw his picture I instantly recognised his smiling face (I don't know how old the picture is but he sure aged well!), and my heart sank . as I realised what I was looking at. I'd like to send my condolences and best wishes to his family. With all respect and love for my old friend, Jez Lewis
