I took care of Alex and KJ when Alex was just two years old. A beautiful boy who brought a smile to my face every day. It was an honor to watch over such spirited, happy boys. A testament to their wonderful parents, Bob and Debbie.
The Christmas ornaments I received with the boys names on them will be next to each other on my tree this year. I will always remember Alex.

Alex was just an all around great person and friend to everyone he encountered. I had several classes and study halls with Alex through high school and he was always so helpful and fun to be around. I remember sitting in senior advisory and talking to the girls at my table, wondering how Alex managed to be friends with literally everyone. It's amazing. He was always bopping around from table to table seeing how everyone was. If you saw him in the hall you always knew you'd get a smile from him. When I heard about Alex passing I was speechless. We need more people like him in this world. Although he isn't here anymore, he will be in all of our hearts. Alex, thanks for making all of our high school years memorable. The class of 2012 loves you and will never forget you. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends today and always.

Being the only girl constantly surrounded by a team of wrestlers, it's not easy! Alex always kept me company during boring practices and tournaments, made me laugh when I was having a bad day, made me smile from ear to eat, and was the best big brother to me. I will always remember all of the times I scored his wrestling matches and all the times we watched wrestling together, sharing our love for the sport. He is one of the most amazing individuals I've ever met. Not only did he make wrestling seasons more enjoyable, but he was a fantastic friend year round. I'm so thankful we all have these amazing memories to remember him by. He was the kid that everyone should be. I love you al.

Debbie, Bob and my dear, KJ: caring, giving, loving… To be a part of that family foundation for all his growing up years, Alex was truly, truly blessed. Debbie, experiencing parenthood together and hearing the stories of toddler days, school activities, sporting events, and young adulthood have been some of the most important shares I have been a part of. Trading those stories of our children and their many, many successes and yes, even the sharing of those moments that challenged us as parents; those are indelible forever meaningful memories. Those memories and the special personal “no one knows” memories along with your unwavering faith will be your strength each day forward. Love to you all, my forever friends. Big hugs. Sleep with angels, Alex…

I had never met Alex before rooming with him, and we immediately hit it off from day 1. Between our love of cars and similar views on pretty much everything, we became really good friends. I never thought I would meet another person who has watched every episode of top gear and follows it religiously. We have had way too many stories to tell, but they all had one common theme. Alex always had my back and was a faithful and loyal friend. He would always be there if I needed him, and the world has suffered a tragedy to lose someone of his caliber. While we have lost someone we love, heaven has gained an Angel. My thoughts are with the Davis family and everyone else who loved him, as I can only imagine how they feel. I know what Alex would have wanted me to do, and that is to support his family through these tough times and look back with fond memories. And I am going to do that as best as I can. Rest in Peace my friend.
