Sue and I want to send our thoughts and prayers to Valerie and her family. We have had the pleasure to have known Wendell for the last 40 plus years. I worked will Valerie at RIT and enjoyed meeting Wendell at many employee parties and gatherings. Where ever Val went, Wendell was close behind greeting you with a firm hand shake and a joke or a story or two. The last time I saw Wendell was at the Wild Wood Country Club where he and Val would be there having dinner. Sue and I would stop by their table to share a drink and usually Wendell had a good story or joke to tell. We will miss seeing him and know that he loved Val, his family and also his great country for which he served. Jim Bingham.

I thought of Wendell as 'my hero'; Valiant veteran of the Korean War. He always had a story to share and never lost his sense of humor. I know he has found his peace. With love.

Wendell was a great guy and was always very nice to me .when Carolyn started kindergarten he came over and took a picture of us together While we were waiting for the bus. When I see that picture I always think of Wendell.
