Obituary of Timothy S. Parker

Timothy “Tim” Parker was born on February 15th, 1968 to William and Shirley Parker. Tim also has his sister, Kris Parker. Tim grew up in Seneca Falls, NY attending Mynderse Academy where he played football and lacrosse. Following high school, Tim attended the Rochester Institute of Technology where he played lacrosse and graduated with a degree in engineering.

Tim began his career at Alliance where he became an expert in mechanical engineering and machine design. Later in his career, Tim transitioned into optomechanical engineering designing prime parts for government contracts at ITT. Tim was truly proud to be an engineer and enjoyed mentoring young, up and coming engineers in his field.

Tim married Anne Martin on July 14th, 2007 at St. Thomas More Church in Rochester, NY; they were married by Father Lee Chase. Tim was a great family man, a loyal friend, wonderful son, and loving father to Katie and Rachel Martin.

Tim was passionate about many different things. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, antique shopping, and was a scuba dive master. Tim was an avid hockey fan and life-long supporter of the Boston Bruins.

Tim is survived by his parents William and Shirley Parker, his sister Kristen, his wife Anne, and his step-daughters Katie and Rachel.

A memorial mass will be held for Tim on May 24th at 9:30 am at St. Lawrence Church in Greece, NY. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Tim. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association DONATE ONLINE in the name of Tim’s beloved mother, Shirley Parker.
