So sorry to hear about Elaine. She was a great person involved in so many worthwhile endeavors.
I have been gone from the Rochester area for more than 20 years now, but I often think of her and all the other Indian Guides mothers and their families.

Some 45 years ago, I met this great gal Elaine at St Josephs Church, we hit it off and became lifelong friends, we shared kids growing up, doing crafts or just sharing coffee and conversation, we supported each other as we both went to college as grownups, something we both aspired to years before a family, we learned to sail sunfish together with our many failures,we laughed and shared, she was there to help me through my griefs. Elaine embraced many with her concern of others comforts, no one whom we have loved are dead but live on in our memories. When I take out her many homemade Christmas ornaments she made for my tree--this year I will take each one in my hand and smile.

My Aunt Elaine will be sadly missed by all of us. She was so positive and always looking for a way to help. She showed genuine interest in all of us. She is a great example of a life well lived. Her children Scott & Emily are great examples of her investment in them paying dividends now. I am sure that she was welcomed in Heaven by my Mom, who would be greatly looking forward to seeing her again. Love to my wonderful Uncle Barry, Cousin Emily & Scott. My heart goes out to you in this great loss of such a precious person we all love so very much.
