So sorry to hear of Lou’s passing. I knew Lou when I was MC Girls Registrar for many, many years working with him on the board. He was instrumental in forming the first U-19 premier girls team when he saw there was a need to up the competition. He always fought to better the opportunities for women’s soccer at the youth level. My daughter had the opportunity to play on his first U-19 team. With his help she became not only a better player but also a better person. She also had the opportunity to work with Coach B at RIT during the summer before attending college where she continued her soccer playing. Now Lou was not only a coach and mentor, but he also assisted a parent when needed. My daughter needed 2 shots before going onto college but insisted not to get them. When I told Lou this he said ...not to worry he’d take care of it....and that he did. While at work, Coach B. told her that they needed to go for a ride....taking her to the doctors for her shots. After his explanation...they went in...got her shots...she didn't pass out ...they went out to lunch and then back to work When she came home I asked her if she was angry at Lou....she said no...I asked why not and she said because he’s Coach B! So as you can see Lou touched many lives, including ours. And as I would always say to him......YOU’RE A GOOD MAN LOU! Our love to his family ❤️ Nancy and Tom Henretty
