Obituary of David F. Horn

On Friday September 13, 2019, David Horn passed away peacefully at the age of 85. He was predeceased in death by his parents Stanley James Horn and Kathryn (Kurtz) Horn; brother, Stanley James Horn; daughter, Sarah Ruth Horn. Survived by his loving wife, Ellen (Thiem) Horn; children, Stanley George Horn, Michael David Horn, Tamara (Joe) Johnson, and Rebecca Horn. Grandfather of Nicole Horn, Joseph Johnson III, David Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Samson Horn and Noah Horn. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

David was born in West Point, New York August 4, 1934. He was a chemical engineer at Eastman Kodak Company for 30 years. He was an Elder at the Downtown United Presbyterian Church. He loved watching his Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers with his wonderful daughter Rebecca and his dachshund, Lucy. David enjoyed listening to jazz and reading history books. 

A Celebration of Life will be officiated by Reverend Dr. Pat Youngdahl Saturday, September 21 at 11:00 AM at Downtown United Presbyterian Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh Street, Rochester.
