Clara Teremy
Greece: Clara returned home to her lord on February 17, 2020 in her 99th year. She was predeceased by her husband, Julius and grandson, David. She is survived by her four loving sons, Frank (Carmen), Peter (Angie), Paul (Madeline) and Steven; grandchildren, Carmen (Adam), Elizabeth (Wayne), Rosita (Eric), Jennifer, Julia (Frank), Rebecca (Steven), Frank (Hillary), Lisa (Brian), Thomas, Sarah (Bryan); 17 Great-Grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and dear friends both here and in Hungary.
Clara was born in Hungary and raised her four sons during and immediately after World War II. The entire family escaped from communist Hungary in 1957, immigrating to America where she appreciated and was grateful for all the blessings and opportunities provided to her and her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a fantastic cook.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hope 4 at Monroe Community Hospital and offer our appreciation for the loving care they provided for mom in her final years.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 7th at 11AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Avenue.
