Was saddened to hear of Cathy's passing, I was honored to have first met Cathy as her instructor at the NYSDOCS Training Academy in 1988 and would later work with her as Officers at Groveland Correctional. She excelled as a Correction Officer, but her true depth of character was as an outstanding person and human being. Honored to have met, worked with and to have known Cathy. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to her family and friends.

I will forever treasure our family memories! As first cousins, we all spent a lot of time in each others homes & it formed a forever closeness that transcended to where ever we lived as we grew older. Near or far, we all remained close. I remember growing up and spending time at Aunt Phyllis & Uncle Jim house & all of us kids playing in the backyard. I was in awe at what a strong & talented woman Cathy was & loved her excitement when she shared the pictures of her Halloween parties. She loved her family & you could feel her beautiful energy. Cathy was a beautiful soul. Anytime I think of her a smile comes to my face. Forever in my heart. Love you Cathy - Rest in Peace with the rest of our family. They will all be there greeting you with open arms.

To Allison and Family, I worked with Cathy at Groveland for many years. She was what we all strived to be. Firm, fair, and consistent. In short, she was a good officer. More importantly, Cathy was a kind, caring, and fun person. I will miss her smile and her premature death leaves a hole in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My beautiful cousin you were taken from us too soon and you will forever be greatly missed. I hope you knew how much you were loved and how much love you brought to all of us. May all your loved ones know that when they feel the sun upon their face it is a kiss from you, when the wind surrounds them it is your beautiful spirit and arms embracing them and when the rain drops fall it is letting them know that you are missing them as much as they are missing you.
