Gerald was Mom and Dad's accountant and upon his passing, David assumed the role. My parents enjoyed their relationship with both Gerald and David, and spoke fondly of them. Mom and Dad passed away last year and David was exceptional in helping me navigate their final accounting. May God Bless those who had the opportunity to know David. God Speed David, you made a difference in people's lives.

To the DeBruyne Family,
Such a shock when I just read of David's passing. I have known his mom & dad for over 40 years. His dad did my taxes. I always kept up with how Gerry & Glady's children were doing. Then Gerry passed and I had the good fortune of being able to continue coming to the DeBruyne household and having David take care of my taxes for a few years. He grew up to be a kind, thoughtful, hard working man. He made his mom proud and she still got to have the tax clients come to her house when David took over the business. He will be truly missed. My heart goes out to you all. It's never easy to loose our loved ones but so unexpectedly and so young. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I am sending a big socially distanced hug to everyone. God Bless and may David Rest In Peace. Forever in our hearts!

I am so sorry for your loss. I have marched with Dave in the Fairport Fire Department Band since 1989. He was a wonderful trumpet player, musician, and friend, with a kind and gentle soul. He will be greatly missed. Please know the entire band is thinking of you.

We were shocked and deeply saddened to read of David's passing in today's newspaper. During the years we knew him as a wine maker, he always brought an easy and relaxed sense of enthusiasm about his tasks at hand and displayed a true love for wines. He will be truly missed by all of us; we share in your sense of loss of a very good man!
